Hi, I'm Nimród Szakács, aka Dormin, a Hungarian producer student living in Montréal, QC, and I'm happy you ended up on this website. I've been in love with music for more than nine years and I've gained experience in many fields:
- 4 years of violin
- 6 years of piano
- 8 years of music theory
- 6+ years of electronic music production (with FL Studio)
My goal with this course is to share my knowledge and help you achieve your musical goals, whether it's making beats for fun or pursuing a career in music production, that's also why the first lesson is free.
I'm composing in and listening to numerous genres, so no matter what your style is, I can help you with it.
Although I'm not teaching complex music theory, just the basics that you can later apply to your projects, 8+ years of studying music theory allows me to dig deep into what makes modern electronic music work and teach you how to apply it in your productions.
